1. Senior Java Software Engineer
The ideal candidate must have the following experience and skills:

• Capable of performing all phases of a software development lifecycle including object oriented analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation.

• A minimum of 4-6 years of development experience.

• At least 4 years of Java programming experience and at least 1 year experience with C or C++.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of middleware development experience.

• Developing server based Java code and multi-threaded development.

• Multiple database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) as well as network protocols (SMTP, SNMP, HTTP).

• Ability to clearly communicate in both written and oral form in the English language.

• A strong working knowledge of ESB, SOA, XML and MOM.

• Able to develop in both a Windows and Linux development environment utilizing JBuilder and CVS.

• Ability to communicate via IM (Instant Messenger).

Only candidates with extensive Java development experience and who can clearly articulate the difference between a Vector and an ArrayList need apply. 2. C and C++ Software Engineer
Rhysome has a vision to revolutionize multimedia communication and has developed a new method of pattern recognition compression. We are currently seeking software engineers with outstanding experience in Video CODEC design to commercialize this new technology for video archiving and streaming.

As a C/C++ Software Engineer, the successful candidate will participate in the development of the software architecture and specification of Video CODECS and device drivers, develop and implement real-time video algorithms based on our compression technology, and develop CODEC programs in C/C++.

The ideal candidate must have the following experience and skills:

• Capable of performing all phases of the software development lifecycle, including object oriented analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.

• Minimum of 4 years of C programming experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of Assembly programming experience.

• Windows and Unix/Linux software and device driver development.

• Image/video algorithm development.

• Experience in real-time C programming.

• Extensive experience with MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.263, and H.264 Video CODEC.

• Expertise in motion estimation, rate control, noise reduction, and video scaling.

• Ability to clearly communicate in both written and oral form in the English language.

• Java experience a plus.

• Ability to communicate via IM (Instant Messenger).
